 The NEB plant is located at Riverview Business Park in Volney, New York, about 25 miles north of Syracuse. The 420-acre Riverview complex was formerly a Miller Brewery.
The Volney facility is situated on approximately 90 acres and occupies 350,000 square feet, in what was once the Miller “brew house”. Much of the brewing infrastructure is being renovated and adapted to “brew” ethanol.
Construction began in the summer of 2006, with production coming on-line in early 2008.
